As fall makes its way in, I immediately think of apples and pumpkins! Over the last couple of weeks, my kiddos and I have enjoyed some super cute apple books that I wanted to share with you. We also did a simple but oh so fun apple craft!
(disclaimer: the following may contain some affiliate links. I may get a penny or two if you purchase one of these books, but I only recommend books I have personally read with my kiddos and we have LOVED! I hope you love them too!)
With this book, we've done apple stacking stem activities, a little craft where we cut out paper apples and glued them one on top of the other on top of a picture of my kiddo, the possibilities are endless!
Next up, a super cute easy reader book about a trip to the apple orchard: Apple Picking Day. This was a fun one to read before we headed to pick apples for ourselves!
Last one is simply called Apples. It gets more detailed about how apples are grown and the science behind it. Super fun one to read on a day you can cut an apple apart and explore the different parts of it.
And while you are cutting up apples, try out this fun craft project! Simply cut an apple in half and use it as a stamp with some red paint. So fun! My little guys loved seeing the apple shape on their paper and stamping away!
