As pumpkin season is coming to an end, here is a fun idea to decorate those pumpkins - even with the littlest ones in your life! I did this activity with my three year old and it was a major hit!
Simply hot glue broken crayon pieces around the stem of the pumpkin and use a blow dryer to melt them. That's it!
My son was able to help me stick the crayon pieces on after I applied the hot glue and then he held the blow dryer and melted the crayons. He loved choosing the colors and seeing them melt down the sides of the pumpkin!
Word to the wise: do this activity outside or place a pretty big drop cloth under the pumpkin as the blow drying process tends to make the crayons spray little specks pretty far.
